About the course

The Temporary Works Co-ordinator Refresher is for TWCs whose CITB certificate is still in date. Pass it and your certification is renewed for another five years, without repeating the two-day course.

The day revisits temporary works procedures and risk management under BS 5975, the role and responsibilities of the TWC, risk assessments and method statements, and current legislation. Like the full course, it's about coordination duties rather than technical design, so bring examples from your own sites.

You must hold a valid TWC certificate and show evidence of it when you book. If it has expired, CITB requires you to take the full Temporary Works Coordinator course again.

Refresher dates run in our classroom at Bradmarsh Business Park, Rotherham, near Meadowhall and the M1, and live online with a tutor.

Can I take the TWC Refresher online?
