About the course

The NEBOSH Fire Certificate is for managers, supervisors and staff who look after fire safety in a workplace. In England and Wales, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires the responsible person for a building to carry out a fire risk assessment, and this course gives you the knowledge to do one properly.

It covers how fires start and spread, fire prevention, means of escape, fire detection and alarm systems, firefighting equipment, emergency plans and evacuation, and how to record and review a fire risk assessment.
