About the course
First Aid at Work certificates last three years. Before yours expires, the requalification course refreshes the full FAW syllabus and reassesses you, so you get a new three-year certificate without repeating the whole course.
Once a certificate has expired, HSE no longer counts that person as a workplace first aider, so book the requalification in good time.
