EUSR / Water Hygiene
The EUSR National Water Hygiene course for anyone working on clean water sites or the clean water network: how drinking water becomes contaminated and how to prevent it. Live online with a tutor.
EUSR National Water Hygiene is the registration water companies and their contractors expect from anyone who works on clean water sites or the clean water network. It's often called the Blue Card.
The course explains why safe drinking water matters, how water can carry disease, how contamination happens and what it leads to, and the hygiene precautions that prevent it, including restricted operations.
Before the training, everyone completes a health screening questionnaire. If you've had certain illnesses in the last 12 months, you'll need written confirmation from a doctor that you're clear before you can be registered.
It runs live online with a tutor on set dates, so operatives across Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster and Barnsley can take it without travelling. You'll need a laptop or desktop computer with a webcam, a microphone and a reliable internet connection, and a quiet room to work in.
You finish with a multiple-choice assessment. Pass it and you're registered with EUSR for three years, with a virtual card. To renew, take the course and assessment again before it runs out.
Anyone entering clean water sites or working on the clean water network, including mains laying, repairs, connections and work at treatment and storage sites.
Tutor-led, live online. Prices are per delegate and exclude VAT.
