EUSR
EUSR Categories 1 and 2: locate buried utility services, then excavate and maintain holes and trenches safely with hand tools and hand-held power tools.
This course combines two EUSR utility excavation categories. Category 1 covers locating buried services with recognised detection methods. Category 2 covers excavating and maintaining holes and trenches safely, using hand tools and hand-held power tools. Both follow HSE guidance HSG47.
It suits groundworkers and utility operatives who both find services and dig around them. Passing gives you an EUSR registration for each category, valid for three years.
