NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate

About the course

This is NEBOSH's fire safety certificate, studied by self-study distance learning. It's for people who are responsible for fire safety at work and need to carry out or manage fire risk assessments.

In England and Wales, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires the responsible person for a building to carry out a fire risk assessment. This course gives you the knowledge to do one properly.

It covers fire safety law, how fires start and spread, fire prevention, means of escape, detection and alarms, firefighting equipment, emergency plans and evacuation, and how to record and review a fire risk assessment.
