About the course
The Level 3 Certificate in Teaching and Training is for people who teach or train others as part of their job: experienced tradespeople who train apprentices and new starters, supervisors who run on-the-job training, and people moving into a training role.
It covers how to plan and deliver training that works, how to support learners and how to check they've learned what they need to.
It's assessed on your own work, so you'll need opportunities to plan and deliver training while you complete it. Your assessor explains the evidence you'll need when you enrol.

How NVQs work
An NVQ has no course dates. You prove you're competent with evidence from the work you already do, with an assessor guiding you from start to finish.

You're assigned an assessor who plans your NVQ with you and guides you through it.

Gather evidence from the work you already do: documents, photos, reports and witness statements.

Your assessor reviews your evidence and confirms you meet each standard of the qualification.

Certificate and CSCS card
Once you're signed off you receive your certificate and can apply for the CSCS card that goes with it.
